Liver and kidney detox: the nutritionist’s weekly menu
We asked our nutritionist Kseniya to draw up a new menu for the week which, through a functional and synergistic approach, can help and promote the work of the liver and kidneys . Two organs that perform extremely important functions in our body: since they are deputies for the filtration and absorption of all nutrients and for the elimination of waste!
Warning: this is a general dietary scheme to support the main organs in the excretion of waste substances. It is not a detox diet and cannot take into account the particular physiological and/or pathological conditions of the individual.
Day by day detox diet for liver and kidneys : the weekly menu of the nutritionist.
Monday
Tuesday
- Breakfast: kefir + whole grains + dried fruit
- Snack: centrifuged kiwi , celery and yellow melon
- Lunch : brown rice salad with egg + ginger scented rocket + extra virgin olive oil
- Snack: red fruits
- Dinner: baked onion omelette + chicory + wholemeal bread + extra virgin olive oil
Wednesday
- Breakfast: Iced green tea + toasted wholemeal bread + nut butter
- Snack: prunes
- Lunch: pineapple chicken + endive + wholemeal bread + extra virgin olive oil
- Snack: centrifuged green apple , lemon and cucumber
- Dinner: legume salad + tomatoes + sweet green olives + sesame seeds
Thursday
- Breakfast: low-fat yogurt + apple
- Snack: dried fruit
- Lunch: cold octopus salad + sweet potatoes with celery + extra virgin olive oil
- Snack: centrifuged watermelon and melon
- Dinner: wholemeal carbonara spaghetti with zucchini cubes + extra virgin olive oil
Friday
- Breakfast: kefir + whole grains + prunes
- Snack: dried fruit
- Lunch: steamed turkey + green peppers with pumpkin seeds + wholemeal bread + extra virgin olive oil
- Snack: apple juice and lettuce
- Dinner: quinoa with lentils + rocket with lime + extra virgin olive oil
Saturday
- Breakfast: cold green tea + toasted wholemeal bread + dried fruit
- Snack: centrifuged apple and lettuce
- Lunch: baked salmon + endive + wholemeal bread + extra virgin olive oil
- Snack: watermelon
- Dinner: barley + peas and basil cream + extra virgin olive oil
Sunday
- Breakfast: plain yogurt + prunes
- Snack: dried fruit
- Lunch: escalopes with lemon with cold boiled potatoes with rosemary + green beans + extra virgin olive oil
- Snack: centrifuged kiwi, celery and yellow melon
- Dinner: bruschetta with chickpea cream + ginger-scented rocket + chia seeds + extra virgin olive oil
